Meet Kendra Keemer also known as Kay. She is a native to Atlanta, Georgia and has over 10 years of experience in the beauty industry as Master Cosmetologist. Ms. Keemer decided to further advance her career in the nail industry after learning more about the need for safety in cosmetic footcare. Shortly thereafter,  Ms. Keemer enrolled in advanced nail tech specialty courses at Nailcare Academy, LLC, (a highly regarded nail specialty training system) as well as MediNail Learning Center, (advanced nail training center conducted and owned by an experienced doctor of podiatry) and completed all requirements to obtain a certification as a Advanced Nail Technician, Wellness Nail Technician, Medical Nail Technician, and Clinical Podiatric Medical Assistant while under the supervision of Board Certified Podiatrists. In addition to these certifications, she also became certified in Nail Restoration to support offering prosthetic nail services to clients and/or patients who need them due to damage, infection or removal of the nail(s)....

Today, Kendra (aka Kay), MNT, CCPMA, Associated Nail Professional member and Safe Salon Professional is a certified medically-trained professional whose purpose is to provide therapeutic medical salon services on the hands and feet while using the proper Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) approved aseptic techniques. 

"Optimal health care of the hands and feet are both of great importance to me. I chose to become a medical nail technician to provide nailcare services to those who suffer from chronic health conditions (such as: diabetes, lymphoma, etc.) that may inhibit them from a traditional nail salon. I also can appreciate those who are well, but want safe medical salon services routinely every month. I look forward to a promising future by helping the community get back on their "good foot"."
